See Beautiful - Winter

First a little update on the Man. One of the tests came back and he has salmonella. He is still having his colonoscopy today, so wish him luck.

The past few weeks I have really been struggling with winter. I have actually been counting down the years until I can leave a cold climate forever (it should be about 15 until retirement). However, sometimes in this dislike of the season, I see beautiful moments like this:

This are the moments that help me get through the cold, dark days.

  5. Ghostwriter hates winter too. The cold makes her hands hurt, and the long dark nights make her sad. But she wouldn't trade it for anything, especially when there are such beautiful moments to photograph. Hope Dad feels better soon.

  10. POTP coming for the man. Luckily, the cause was found and hopefully cured.
The sun is coming up later and later here, so it should be showing up at your place soon. You'll feel better when Spring comes.....but that snow is beautiful.

  11. hopefully now that they know what's wrong, hopefully they can treat and the Man will be feeling better soon. Mom & Dad have both had colonoscopies. Mom says the worst part was the liquid diet the day before.

  20. The older we get, the more my husband and I dislike winter, too. God was with us this year and we had a very mild one for NE Kansas.
